The S.T.A.B.L.E. Programme is designed to provide important information for the assessment and stabilization of sick infants in the post-resuscitation/pre-transport period and the guidelines provided are based upon evidence-based recommendations in neonatal texts and published literature whenever possible. S.T.A.B.L.E. is the most widely distributed and implemented neonatal education programme in the US to focus exclusively on the post-resuscitation/pre-transport stabilization care of sick infants.
The programme is designed in a format to provide participants with information and guideline in optimizing retention and recall, targeting majority of neonatal problems encountered during the newborn period, and to improve patient safety for infants.
